Dhanjal 188*

Byron 4-83

Kipper XI: 1-173 (trail by 185 runs)

Dove 89*
Khulelaphi 71*

Houghton 1-15
Getting hammered at the moment, but given they seem to basically be a two man team of Camp and Dhanjal, and i've still got 2 more reasonable batsmen to come in, I should be able to force a draw if Dove can stick around until lunch on day 3.

Really impressed with the batting but particularly with the performance of Mohan a 17 year old debutant. Hopefully I can pull off something miraculous with the ball and win the game.

Anyone else notice this?

Welcome back to The Heath Cricket Ground for day 2 of the match between The Heath CC and Birchwood CC. The match is not back under way, so lets get straight to our commentary team.

It's "now back under way", innit?

Needing 3 runs to hit my declaration target, the morning bowling effect has turned my opponent's mediocre pairing into ruthless automatons. Four maidens in a row so far. Five. Zzzzz. Three bloody runs!

Fielding: woeful feeble

Pretty pissed off that we didn't bat better today. Looks like i experienced my first morning collaspe, lost 8/65 this morning after Lucas went. Might have to change the tactics in the future to combat that.

A bit suprised how easy the win was in the end, but looking at their rating they don't have a great batting line up. I might rest Jeithoon next game, i reckon i can still bowl them out twice cheaply without him. I knocked over two cheap wickets before he end bowled today.

Top order went up from last week with the same type of batsmen at the top. Everything else is leveling out.

Awesome finishing by my boys to complete the win inside two days. New trainee wicket-keeper Bardle was gun, and my bowling attack did the job missing three regulars.

Days rest, then OD Match against the top team...

Great performance from my guys today, we scored our runs at over 5 and a half an over, giving us a chance to make an attacking declaration and over a session's worth of bowling at Birchwood. We subsequently prised out their top order - with their two best batsmen safely back in the hutch, I'll be setting my bowlers to attacking tomorrow and hoping to finish this off quickly.
