Cricketer Of The Year
knew i would struggle with my top 3 bowlers out

End of Over 9: 62-0, runrate=6.89, reqrunrate=6.73 (337-3)
Mulhern 5-0-27-0
Sheepy* 33 (27 balls)

Through to round 5 :) Screwed up my orders too, bowled Poke and Evelyn out, not Poke and Wikus. Bowled them out for 147, lost Alshaun 2nd ball, then Hocking and Hiller chased it down.

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Duly beaten in my game.

Magical Ponies 181 (45.3)
Farmer 75 (97), Edwards 44 (66), Donohoe 22 (32)

Szuckos 0/184 (31.3)

Magical Ponies Szuckos
Top Order: mediocre strong
Middle Order: woeful respectable
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: feeble respectable
Spin Bowling: competent proficient
Fielding: worthless woeful

Probably would've won on TIE if I'd gone full strength, but meh. I got my one home game, so I'm happy.

Playing Thomas' second XI, Elmes made a sweet 150 and Walsh 142* to take the score to 3/337.

Thomas 3/220 with 12 or so overs to go. Think he'll get it tbh.

My opposition need 50 runs from 48 balls with 7 wickets in hand, which given the quality of my bowler's means that I'll probably be knocked out of the cup today

Someone has to teach me how to throw a game better...

Code:
End of Over 26: 146-3, runrate=5.62
Matharu 8-0-36-1
Yapabandara* 86 (70 balls)
Drolkop 0 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Chaminda c & b. Matharu 1 (FOW: 146/3)
Rested Jeithoon and Murali and figured i had no chance of winning this match. Just knocked over their 2nd best batsmen Chaminda, exceptional with no secondaries. Their gun all rounder is smashing the crap out of us, but im pretty sure they got nothing else. Would be kind of nice to go through so I can get a home match. But three competitve matches per week is pretty tough.

EDIT: 4 down - 26.3 W Sishayi to Drolkop

Willetts 7-1-29-5

Unbeatable Punjabi's v Jaffna Jets: Jaffna Jets won by 9 wickets

Unbeatable Punjabi's 266 All Out
Yapabandara 164(128), Willetts 5/29(7), Sishayi 4/36(6)

Jaffna Jets 1/270(46)
Clayton 124(139), Lucas 118(120)

Through to the 5th round for the first, expecting to face a D1 side. But it should be interesting to see how many top teams threw their matches. Hopefully i get lucky again.

My players are loving their Sunday lie-in. I've got them doing Tai Chi and listening to motivational tapes of Kevin Pietersen warning about the dangers of burnout.
