Bwahahahaha. Would've thought you'd need a team in that country to be a nat coach, but whatever. Unlucky for Pakistan I guess.

Just had a read through the Pakistan threads and it looks like he did a lot of ground work before applying. Unlike most overseas manager who just apply without ever posting in the National Threads. Most the Pakistan managers see him as token Pakistani it seems. Either he pulled a big one over their eyes or his keen. His actually running a "Project Pakistan" program to try and help Pakistan win the U19 WC. Not as well organised as the one Sri Lanka's U19 managers is doing with a couple other but atleast he's trying.

Probably should get on MSN rather then make SP some postman. But only the 17yo SL players have been put out in the open. When you include 18yo the pool is about 30 odd players for our "Misson Impossible"

Yeah, I know he's reading this thread because he's on my case about us insulting him when he's not here to defend himself.

A couple of pops, one to my YP - he was pretty close to respectable after all. Pead's pop completely unexpected, so that's nice. His form seems to have bottomed out as well, and about time too.

12. Darren Piercy - 17 yo, BT Rating=5,069
RH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, lively
A cautious player with worthless leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: respectable Consistency: competent
Fielding: worthless

11. Sam Pead - 20 yo, BT Rating=16,945
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, abysmal bowling form, lively
A defensive player with abysmal leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: quality Consistency: proficient
Fielding: worthless

Somewhat embarrassingly, and despite purchasing a prof/resp backup bowler last night for leg-crossingly painful sums of money, this pop still makes Piercy my fifth best bowler. Ah well, at least my first XI now has all resp+ primaries.
