Mulhern (B2)
Francis/Hankey (B4)

Although Hankey has the better bowling primary, Francis' secondaries (stamina and consistency, in this case) are better, which means he'd be more likely to be less expensive. Obviously, the batting order could change, and certain batsmen could replace others, and I'm sure other people here will come up with a different team. Although I didn't pick Kirk (Hildred's fielding got him in), I'd put him on some nets (at least two batting nets) and train him up as he's young. Pretty much anyone below mediocre should be fired.

thanks for that, that is similar to the side i was using so stay tuned.

Nah, you can only have one team per person.

Looks like you got two teams for some reason, I think most teams only start off with 18 players. Once you've fired all the rubbish players you'll have a normal-sized squad though.

There's a 'fire' link on the player page on the right, under Sell Player. I'd just fire every player whose primary (batting or bowling) isn't mediocre+. Alternatively you could try to sell them for £0, but it's unlikely you'll get a bid. You don't have to fire them, it just means you won't have to waste money paying their wages.

If you click on a players' skill, it'll pop up with a list. But the order is (as far as I can go, at least):

Worthless
Abysmal
Woeful
Feeble
Mediocre
Competent
Respectable
Proficient
Strong
Superb (stamina stops here)
Quality
Remarkable
Wonderful
Exceptional
Sensational

Edit: And, after I check Battrick, then it goes:
Exquisite
Masterful
Miraculous
Phenomenal
Elite

Should've looked for players with better stamina, as they don't tend to perform to their best with no/low stamina (ie. good batsmen getting out on 20/30's, or bowlers being wayward as they tire quickly)
