Haha finally scored a run:)

2.1 1 Hirst to Edgehill
Clever cricket from Edgehill. Played into the gap and the batsmen cross for a leisurely single.

Surprised with this TBH.

6.4 6 Hirst to Edgehill
He must be on a pay-per-run contract the way he went for that one! Six runs!

LOL at Manju

All over here at TG Oval, with Murali doing a Trent Johnson and hitting a six to win us the match and our first ever CW Cup win. Pretty happy with the win, got a bit tight at the end with Alfred and Boomes taking some middle order wickets. But the decision to bat deep played off. Not sure if Jamee two trainees would have made much difference, i still would have backed us to win. Now onto my plans to knock off SP. :D

And that's the end of the match. Jaffna Jets won by 5 wickets.
Jamees 999ers 193-10
Jaffna Jets 194-5

Ratings to come...

Code:
              Jaffna Jets Jamees 999ers
Top Order: proficient competent
Middle Order: respectable mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: respectable strong
Spin Bowling: respectable competent
Fielding: woeful feeble
First time i got a proficient top order with a resp batsmen at 3, Strong here i come. :D\

Thanks for the game Jamee

Sorry, completely forgot about this. Is there anyway in which I can still partake?

Congrats Tharmi

Bit of a bummer i cant watch my game tommorrow, dont really have much chance of winning anyway. Bertos will need someone to stick around with him. ATM watching the other match in my group, Pup vs Lancashire. AD won the toss and batted first losing 3 quick wickets all taken by Islam. They've recovered a bit since.

End of Over 11: 51-3, runrate=4.64
Islam 6-0-22-3
Coates* 26 (30 balls)
Jefferson 19 (21 balls)

Was referring mainly to RL cricket, and Smith's game as he posted directly above, haven't looked at the other results. Wasn't expecting my comment to be subject to analysis tbh.
agreed. my bowlers should be able to contain hook and bertos, if they play that is, and my batsmen should be able to dominate the panthers attack on this flat pitch. whoa yeah

Shamshad 3-0-18-1
Tawanda* 1 (3 balls)
Obrien 45 (46 balls)

Last Wicket: Packer c. Graves b. Shamshad 48 (FOW: 92/2)

Somehow lost two random wickets - a near superb-masterful and a superb-quality to a team with feeble match ratings. Glad I've got Summers and Pace bowling through, expect pain.
