Won my match fairly easily. Wikus the star with the ball taking 4/24 off his 10 on a H&F. Hocking knocked up yet another 100. Quite dissapointed not to bat out the whole 50 overs though. GFI'd and got some alright ratings.

Pretty pleased with my steady but unspectacular start against 2nd in my league. Staveley and Patel have reached 51/0 after eleven overs on a Slow pitch. We've seen out 5 overs from their Rem LM at one end, picking up 16 runs along the way, and at the other we've effectively milked the lowish Resp RFM.

Strange though, they're using Default orders, but B3 is another crappie Resp RF, whereas I was expecting their Gun spinner. Only cloud on the horizon that I can see ATM is that I've got Cash set to V.Def due in next, when I could really do with kicking on. Although having said that, with the Gun spinner yet to bowl, it mightn't be such a bad thing to have a defensive option up my sleeve.

MTF, Trev

Said Gun Spinner, who may be Rem by now but is prob Qual, comes on and gets Staveley for 33 with his first delivery. 67/1, Cash hits two twos from his first two balls - Up to these to to build a platform for Greening. 71/1 after 15, Patel 32 (46) Cash 4 (5)

Well, at least you'll stay interested!

Could be down to careful TIE/GFI - I can't see any of you going unbeaten.

Freudian and Nomads look as though they could be "superstar" teams, at least for batting - they'll lose whenever their star bat fails.

You, blkbeauties, Golden Panthers and Panagon look to be the best sides.

I'm TIEing today, in preparation for Sunday's match against Nibbs and any Twenty20 matches that may happen. Got my opponents 110/7 off 34 on a H&F pitch. Should be something of a formality, which'll see me safely up to Eng Div II - I'm just trying to hang on to Sky Blues, who pipped me to the IV.26 title the season before last, and is about to go up to Div I.

Interesting player, secondaries suck but good to have his stamina maxed out already. Should (just) be able to get away with playing him one match every week even with five nets.

Will his secondaries go up alot quicker with him getting those 5 nets?

Freudian actually has Peter Tarr - yes, the exquisite/elite English NT bat ;) Nomad has a quality/superb and a superb/strong, both with superb stamina. It'll be damn tough.

BIG trouble for me, yet again. 20/3 off 5. Was 8/3 off 2.

Reed and Sandwith both out for ducks - golden for Reed, while Sandwith at least faced 2 balls. Perry out last ball of the first over as well.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THOSE TWO?! IT MUST BE AT LEAST FIVE SODDING MATCHES SINCE EITHER OF THEM GOT A DECENT SCORE!

Wond/Wond and Rem/Rem, my ****.

Now, Bardle goes for his 10-fer (on TIE though)

Saving themselves for big things against Nibbs.

Bowled Chinatown out for 248 off the last ball of the innings, was hoping to get them out for below 200 so I'd be an absolute certainty to win the division. I need about 90 to win the division now with probably his best two bowlers bowling through at the start on what seems a fairly flat pitch.
