Yeah, see, not what you'd class as 'gun' really. Guilty of 54 counts of minnow-bashing too...

hmmm. the top cricketweb bats, the main ones anyway...
1. Fitz Watkins 2. Grady McCammon 3. Panjuranga Islam 4. Jason Duggan Code:
This Season
M I Runs no Avg H/S 50s 100s
Duggan 17 15 1446 7 180.75 190* 2 10
Islam 17 13 1071 6 153.00 166* 2 6
McCammon 13 13 1415 4 157.22 193* 2 8
Watkins 16 13 722 4 80.22 208* 3 2
Career
M I Runs no Avg H/S 50s 100s
Duggan 73 60 4073 30 135.77 195* 20 17
Islam 98 62 3847 32 128.23 193* 21 13
Watkins 54 44 2975 19 119.00 208* 6 14
McCammon 62 48 3513 16 109.78 218* 14 14
duggan will pop to exceptional batting next week, and he may also pop to wonderful concentration within a week or two. before long he'll have proficient stamina as well. watkins i think still has the advantage by virtue of his superior concentration, but tbh by the end of the season i think that duggan will be better than mccammon. these are interesting times for cricketweb's leading batsmen.

Chanderpaul is aiming for 2,000 runs this season in the league & cup, it requires a double ton against a rubbish team on Friday but he could do it. I think he may already be over the line if you include friendlies but that wouldn't be fun.

Well what most of us thought has been confirmed:
"First Class matches unfortunately will not take place next season, as many suspected. The redevelopment of the whole site in order to improve performance has taken priority this season but development of the FC matches will continue." |

After a bit of effort I'm now able to use BT rating to judge sublevels, for players with superb/superb form - which is most of them. Should help me out in purchasing a good batsmen cheaply... eventually.

The Zebras are having a huge clearout sale for the next three days, including various poor quality Indian middle order batsmen and pace bowlers. Please donate kindly. Any newcomer who wants a competent bat or bowl should take a look.

Hmm, allanfc is becoming quite famous: link
Twenty20 should be interesting (well probably not, I assume it'll just be the equivalent of the last 10 overs played twice), pity Whitehorne won't be able to play. |
