Bell finally got out, and Ireland came in and immediately changed the game by smashing 27 off 2 overs. Should win from here.

No chance of winning but at least we haven't been rolled in double figures like the last two games.

	W	Morgan to Herd
Got him! Driven strongly down the ground by Herd, but plucked from the air by Morgan as he followed through after his delivery stride. Wonderful reflexes!
Herd goes for one hell of an innings. Heads in and he needs to stick around and let Munroe do the hitting. Praying atm.

Oh my god, that was a very close win. Canning is an absolute legend, up there with Michael Hussey. Came in at 4/50, which became 7/153 with no batsmen left, and he pulls it off, after he'd bowled 10 overs as well. Made his highest score too, though that maiden century is still proving elusive.

Backyard Sloggers 198 (47.3)
Erasmus 4/23 (8.3), Fernando 3/38 (9), Canning 2/38 (10)

Magical Ponies 7/199 (44.1)
Canning 92* (88), Tedstone 34 (37), Kilkenny 30 (44)

Backyard Sloggers Magical Ponies
Top Order: strong mediocre
Middle Order: competent competent
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: respectable respectable
Spin Bowling: competent competent
Fielding: woeful abysmal

Canning dismissing two of the top order, with the other being run out, while Fernando and Erasmus took their normal bucketload of wickets in the last 10 (went from 4/171 to 198 all out). Was not expecting that at all though, as I TIEed it to minimise the fitness hit from a loss. I remain 5th on the table, but now only one win behind the 4th team (these guys).

Was cruising to a win but had a massive collapse:

42.4 W Shaw to Roscoe
Awesome yorker right on target, Roscoe too late on the defensive shot, misses it, ball smashes the off stump out of the ground.
42.3 W Shaw to Mason
Out. A top edged pull shot is taken by Mallon diving to his left.
42.2 W Shaw to Randall
Oh what a catch! You won't see better this season. It looked a certain six but the lad plucked it out of the air at a full length dive!
42.1 W Shaw to Mccoy
Good lord, he's bowled him! What a lazy shot from Mccoy, he just wafted the bat at it and it's taken the inside edge and continued on to hit middle and leg.

FFS

End of Over 44: 242-7, runrate=5.50, reqrunrate=4.00 (265-8)
Saville 7-1-27-0
Falk* 32 (25 balls)
Furlong 1 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Roscoe b. Shaw 0 (FOW: 238/7)

Crusing at the moment but jeez, I am worried about a pasag-style collapse at the moment.

wholy **** its happening on a hattrick

48.2 W Oneil to Owen
Did he fire that from a cannon? Sheer pace from Oneil does Owen all ends up and sends the stumps spinning away. Nothing more than a blur to Owen.
48.1 W Oneil to Cleaver
Pull shot straight into the hands of Fleming at square leg.

YES, so glad I won. Can't believe I chased that considering my dire batting this season. Herd played his greatest career innings in a pressure situation, and then Munroe and Heads came in late and smacked the ball around while running good singles.

Attempted hook shot by Honey, goes straight up into the swirling wind. Berry calls off the other fielders and gets under it to take a marvellous catch. He covered a lot of ground to get there, great work.
