BARNES OUT
Olde Towne Team 3-298
Central Districts 10-80

Drilled, yet again. Was expected though.

Decent ratings for me on TIE:

Code:
 		Central Districts Olde Towne Team
Top Order: competent proficient
Middle Order: feeble competent
Lower Order: worthless woeful
Seam Bowling: mediocre proficient
Spin Bowling: competent respectable

Honestly hate Fuller with every bone in my body. This is as low as it gets in life, I'd imagine.

Had an easy win.

Jazz Men 203a.o. from 49 overs
Mills 6/38 (10.0)
Mcmillan 4/46 (9.0)

Anchormen 2/204 from 40.3 overs
Gray 98* (111)
Mcmillan 65 (85)
Bhutia 37* (47)

Millsy in amazing touch, murdered the critics. Mcmillan had a ripper of a game too, finding some form with the bat and continuing a good season with the ball. Gray guided us home, and I'm slightly annoyed that he didn't get his century. Bhutia also got some runs which is encouraging. Alright ratings -

Anchormen
Top Order: strong
Middle Order: feeble
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: mediocre
Spin Bowling: proficient
Fielding: woeful

Very important win, means I can pretty much TIE my next 2 games and win.

Pretty average start to my top of table clash, really need to break this partnership, they only got one good batsmen left:

End of Over 16: 92-1, runrate=5.75
Kinsella 3-0-24-0
King* 38 (45 balls)
Hick 34 (24 balls)

Last Wicket: Wadeer c. Clayton b. Dowdall 19 (FOW: 42/1)

And that's the end of the match. Tongala C.C. won by 7 wickets.
Clapo's XI 242-10
Tongala C.C. 243-3

Paltry Effort from Groves, Kandage & Walton with the ball has again seen me to another loss. Only Meyer (1-44) & Savage (2-47) can hold their heads high, with the other 3 bolwers copping a hiding.

Rose again let me down with the Bat, the fact that he has low secondaries & i've no spare nets doesn't help, so i've put him on the market, i need the cash, and i've got trainee's who haven't got as high primaries (competant compared to Rose's respectable) however they have far better Secondaries (Competant, Rose only on feeble).

Ludlow (64 from 79) batted well, as did Taylor (52 from 68) & Meyer, who was unbeaton on 57 53) at the end. Walton 23(28) showed signs of resistance at 8, and looked likely to see things through with Meyer until being undone by MOTM Murtagh.

The Ratings pretty much tell the story

Code:
               Clapo's XI Tongala C.C.
Top Order: feeble mediocre
Middle Order: feeble feeble
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: mediocre competent
Spin Bowling: feeble feeble

Pretty happy with my performance today. Bowled first on my cracked pitch and restricted there batsmen to a chasable score. Got the runs easily with Kennedy n Jayasuriya doing the damage opening the batting both scoring centurys.

Michael 84 (104)
Westhead 1/34

College Dropouts 2/244 44.2 overs
Kennedy 114 (137) MOTM
Jayasuriya 107 (117) not out

Not looking too good here, need a few wicket very quickly or this could be a massive total:

End of Over 30: 167-1, runrate=5.57
Jeithoon 10-0-63-0
King* 78 (89 balls)
Hick 64 (64 balls)

Last Wicket: Wadeer c. Clayton b. Dowdall 19 (FOW: 42/1)

Jeithoon bowling has been quite disappointing in the matches i've had him play, hopefully its just his respectable bowling form.

Haha oh dear. Had perhaps my worst ever start in my league match today, which was admittedly against the best team in the league.

Code:
0.1 W	Cogan to Farmer
He looked like he'd been eating too many pork pies as he ambled towards the stumps and is easily run out.
0.2 W	Cogan to Griffin
The bowler and the crowd go wild, while Griffin hangs his head in shame as the umpire raises his finger to a clear LBW.
Magical Ponies 65 (21.5 overs)
Kilkenny 44* (65), Dunne 5 (19), Fernando 4 (6)

Syma Snipers 0/66 (11 overs)
Fernando 0/26 (5), Norris 0/4 (1)

Magical Ponies Sympa Snipers
Top Order: competent proficient
Middle Order: feeble mediocre
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: mediocre quality
Spin Bowling: competent feeble
Fielding: abysmal feeble

You can see a bit of what's been said before about tailenders there. The combined score of three respectables, a proficient and a superb bat was outscored or equal to the score of an abysmal and a worthless.

Lost against the leader on normal in a game I thought i was always going to lose. We batted first:

Got Spin 325/6

Mccammon 167(132)
Saunders 117(134)

Benlandia 326/3 off 47.2 overs

Allen the pick of the bowlers with 2/55

Decent crowd in, but still not that great.

Got Spin Benlandia
Top Order: superb proficient
Middle Order: mediocre competent
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: mediocre proficient
Spin Bowling: useless remarkable
Fielding: woeful woeful

MOTM: Cherry

Increased ratings thanks to Allen playing

My H&F experiment didn't work, as I didn't manage to get too good a score.

I managed 269/9, Chanders didn't do much at all even though I put him on normal. :(

Lets hope i can get some quick wickets in the last ten overs or this could be pretty massive total for me to chase:

End of Over 40: 224-1, runrate=5.60
Kinsella 10-0-59-0
Hick* 85 (93 balls)
King 108 (121 balls)

Last Wicket: Wadeer c. Clayton b. Dowdall 19 (FOW: 42/1)

Not sure if my 3rd seamer in Baptiste would have been a better option then Kinsella. Kinsella bowled some good overs, but hard three big overs against him, which got his e/r up to 6.

I predict 291/8 having not looked at any of the players involved.
Well i just knocked over their opener for 124, run out though, but they are already on 259, with five overs left.

EDIT: OMG what a call from PY

End of Over 50: 294-7, runrate=5.88
Obeysekera 10-0-68-1
St. hubbins* 1 (1 balls)
Suttonwood 2 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Hick b. Obeysekera 127 (FOW: 293/7)

Still going to be a tough total to get with their bowling attack, but we have given ourselves a chance.

Dowdall what a hero 5/49 off 10, when everyone else went for six an over.

OMG they opened with their gun spinner, this could be interesting, he has already taken a wicket:

1.4 W Rodrigo to Quintin
Bowled too short and Quintin pulls it away towards square leg. Mistimed though, and St. hubbins takes the catch. Rodrigo gets lucky there.
