Pretty pleased with that, Umar on top form with bat and ball. This team were a bit of a weird one, they've been really inconsistent this season, but I've beaten them twice now.

We got off to a cracking start, going at about 6.50 an over for the first 15 overs.

That shocking bug's cost you the game. 29 off 24 balls, 6 wickets in hand should never end with the team all out.
I don't see why not - IRL it would happen on occasion - pressure + new batsmen with no time to settle can equal problems.

Highest any of my lot have scored is 184*, more than I'll get today. Haven't lost more than 3/4 wickets all season and that I get bowled out by this load of rubbish, as ever it's a waste of time having tailenders of any ability.
Define tailenders?

All of my batsman that have been out passed 50 but nobody was able to kick on and make a big one which was a shame, nevertheless I'm happy with 313/4 considering my bowlers are in pretty decent form.

Just the one upset in my league today, #4 beat #3 by 7 wickets but apart from that, all went to plan.

Clutha Valley CC 313-4
Makgale 76 (87), Lloyd 70 (62), Bittner 65 (75), Grady 55 (53)
NZ Powerball 181 (42.3 overs)
Heard 3-26, Khotsofalang 2-20, Warlock 2-37, Neutze 2-44

Reporters Summary

Clutha Valley CC
Top Order: feeble
Middle Order: woeful
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: feeble
Spin Bowling: woeful
Fielding: woeful
MOTM: Makgale

Top Order went from woeful to feeble, attendance of 4047 so it was a pretty reasonable day for Clutha Valley CC. Be interesting to see how many of how players break into the top 10 in my league.

International Captain
Hamshaw has made 2 200s for me. Duggan is been not out in the 190s 3 times.

Another win to maintain second place in II.4, this despite us resting Duggan, who doesn't seem to be capable of maintaining a sublime fitness level whilst receiving 3 nets, and we remain 4 points behind unbeaten leaders Waitakere, but 8 clear of 3rd. A top 2 finish is certainly on the cards now. Two weeks away from the big showdown which will make or break or title ambitions against Waitakere. We lost by 4 runs in the round 4 encounter, so I'm expecting similiar drama this time around.

Happy with Causons bowling during the middle overs, very economical. Wight was all guns blazing at the start of the innings but fell away before he was eventually out. Now sit top of the table by 2 points but have a heap of hard games coming home. Should be a great tussle to see who takes out the league.

Haven't had anyone make a 200 for my club as yet

Damn it!

I was so tempted to use some of my 30 ITS this week, but I didn't, and...

Peter Oakley (990722)
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A steady player with proficient leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Magical Ponies
Nationality: Australia
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 4,825
Wages: £659 p/w
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: mediocre
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: competent Consistency: abysmal
Fielding: competent

I really need a FM or F bowler, so he would've been handy. Already had good stamina and fielding as well, and judging by his wage he would've popped soon. Gahhhhh

Listed for 20k, if anyone's interested
