Playing Gelman today in the final game. He basically has two good batsman who have been trained for two seasons, because he never checks the damn game, and Elmes in particular dominates our league and keeps him mid table.

Sure enough, Elmes made another century against me. Probably won't be enough, but I am running with an experimental batting order and Pietersen opening, so we'll see.

The Div 5 division that I'll be throwing my playoff to demote into actually has one or two semi-decent teams in it, so at least it'll be a little bit exciting. The guy I'm playing isn't bad though (prof/med batting, prof/comp bowling), so he'll hopefully not throw his game.

My 20/20 group is nuts. One div 3 team and two div 4 teams. Won't have a chance.

I had it planned out all this season, i would stay down for one more, then set my sights on Div IV, but with todays match, Mungi's First XI got ratings of Prof-med Prof-feeb on a probable GFI, so i decided, if he GFI'd me i could very well lose and stay stuck in V for another season.

My playoff match should be easy, and i will GFI it, just to make sure. His ratings are:

We will be on his cracked pitch, so, i should smash him, unless he changes it, but even then, i should have the advantage on any pitch. His squad has a few average players, and a gun 18yr old keeper, but still confident.

The team coming down to our league is going to be my main worry, he has an awesome bowling lineup, but not much in the ways of batsmen, his ratings are:
