Leeds United have listed Pete Fisher too so he'll now have no good players. Not sure what he's doing though because he must have like 8mill in the bank with another 5m+ coming from Fisher but he'll have not many decent players!

Can someone do that transfer thing for me, it does work for me. Also can people stop posting their worthless YP, no one cares.

Well, turns out a lone 1.5mil bid was enough. A bit more than I would have liked to pay, but to be honest, I don't think it was that bad a price.

Nelson Johnston - 21 yo, BT Rating=13,559
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A steady player with feeble leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: superb Concentration: respectable

By Monday, before Jones sells, I should have a Quality bat, two Superbs and 2 Profs

Going for ratings today in my friendly. Top order will consist of a Quality/Remarkable, a Superb/Resp and a Strong/Prof (the strong about to pop to superb). I would say Superb is the best bet, with a mediocre middle order.

Wonder what would've happened in Hoy hadn't been declared inactive, and still had this bloke, plus about 7 months of 10 nets...

This was on the 27th of March this year, so that would've been in Week 9 or so. I'm pretty sure he was "active" for a while after that, I think he hit Quality bowling before Hoy was declared inactive.

Clash of the titans, at least in terms of Ponies-Kipper battles

Code:
25.3 6	Canning to Dove
That'll come down with snow on it... six runs!
End of Over 26: 120-2, runrate=4.62
Canning 8-1-26-2
Attwood* 26 (51 balls)
Dove 78 (65 balls)
Last Wicket: Waterhouse c. Parr b. Canning 4 (FOW: 21/2)

Canning's figures ruined by that over, which also saw Dove hit a four. If you don't mind me asking Cameeel, what's he like?

BT collapse time:

Code:
44.5 W	Fernando to Perry
Perry tried but he couldn't pull the bat away quickly enough. Great movement off the seam and it flies into Parr's hands.
44.1 W	Fernando to Brown
I don't think that hook shot went as planned because somehow it has ended up in the gloves of Parr.
42.6 W	Fernando to South
Attempted hit over the top picks out the safe hands of Sutton at long on.
42.5 W	Fernando to Attwood
Attwood advances down the ground and wallops it towards the long on boundary. Great take by Erasmus though!
End of Over 45: 219-7, runrate=4.87
Fernando 8-0-33-4
Byron* 1 (1 balls)
Davies 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Perry c. Parr b. Fernando 2 (FOW: 219/7)

Edit: Haha oh dear. Game over.

End of Over 7: 26-4, runrate=3.71, reqrunrate=4.81 (232-10)
Vernon 4-1-9-2
Kilkenny* 1 (1 balls)
Sutton 1 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Griffin b. Vernon 2 (FOW: 24/4)

Tedstone (run out), Canning (Vernon), Farmer (run out) and Griffin (Vernon) all gone.

Lost my game against nooga. I won the toss n elected to bowl on his green pitch and managed to bowl him out for under 200. Disapointing display by my top order, all got a start but no one went on to make a match winning score, so I lost by 67 runs.

Currently playing a friendly against bicmaia:

End of Over 30: 167-2, runrate=5.57, reqrunrate=6.60 (298-5)
Mcmillan 3-0-9-1
Yate* 87 (76 balls)
Marius 9 (18 balls)
Last Wicket: Cornes b. Mcmillan 57 (FOW: 143/2)

I batted first. Mcmillan made 142 (139), Johnston 51 (71) and Jones 55* (43). Mcmillan has definitely got himself the gig as opener.

Anchormen 5/298 from 50 overs
Mcmillan 142 (139)
Jones 55* (43)
Johnston 51 (71)

bicmaia 255a.o. from 47.3 overs
Mcmillan 7/22 (8.3)
Rayno 2/54 (10.0)

****! Mcmillan!! What a gun, single-handedly won us the game. Hitting his strings... might consider training him to remarkable batting now ;)

Solid ratings too:

Anchormen
Top Order: superb
Middle Order: mediocre
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: mediocre

Goodbye.

Funny thing about that match you just mentioned Robertinho, Kelly didn't even get MOM.

My YP had mediocre batting with no ITS, bah. One week later and he would've got 12 batting ITS.

Just had a look through my team's averages this season, a few surprises:

Batting (minimum 100 runs)
Code:
		[B]Runs	Average	SR	HS[/B]
Ashton 528	75.43	95.48	160*
Cuss 493	61.63	78.88 85
Watkins 458	91.60 104.57	208*
Whitehorne	304	60.80	95.00 90
Malik 114	16.29	54.29 49
Cuss a shadow of his former self. Ashton somewhat surprisingly the leading runscorer, though I have been using him as an opener fairly often. Malik demonstrates how much of a gap there is between my top four and the rest.

Bowling (minimum 5 wickets)
Code:
		[B]Wickets	Average	ER	BB[/B]
Whitehorne	29	10.17	3.43	8-35
Malik 21	18.48	4.26	6-60
Subasinghe	18	20.33	4.75	5-12
Crabb 18	29.17	5.00	4-22
Watkins 7	43.00	3.58	2-14
Disappointed with how ineffective Watkins has been, kept the runs down I suppose. Subasinghe performing surprisingly well given he's my worst bowler, benefitting from bowling at the tail probably.
