I checked my fixtures last night...then, aghast, double-checked the cup draw.
Bugger. it's been redrawn and I've got Cow Corner, from the CC. I was surprised at being one of the lowest-ranked teams in it, but then realised that the rankings are taken from the start of the season, so I'm ranked as a "6th in III" team rather than "1st in III". For the first time ever, I'm ranting about the injustice that is the cup draw system! Looking at their squad, Cow Corner have MUCH higher BTRs than my lot...but their ratings are similar, if not worse in some cases. I'm going to have to go for a really good look at their team and attempt to figure out some weaknesses. If anything, their batsmen look slightly worse than mine, but they've got some serious spin going on. Any tips towards beating them? Anyway, it looks as though I'll be joining you lot in the CW BT Cup (or whatever it's officially called) after all

Wrong section IMO. Should be shot
Try looking at the wages of their best players and compare/contrast

It'll be a miracle if I get anywhere near the knockout stages...

![]() I started writing it as an "I'll most probably be in the CW cup after all" post, but got a bit OT. Quote:

Well, we're going to wait for Adam & Nibbs, so (no offence) you'll probably be done by then??

If I somehow manage to squeeze past Cow Corner, chances are that I'll be facing Ladbroke. And you know what happens when people play Ladbroke! If not Ladbroke, probably Bulldogs. So, two more cup games for me, maximum. |

I'm pretty confident of winning my cup match this week, good chance I'll get knocked out in the semis though (if Doobie Bombers lose this week then I'll probably make the final). In any case, if you want to wait for me you can get the cup started on the 12th of November at the latest, which is the start of week 11 I think so you can make it up to 8 rounds long.
