End of Over 35: 146-10, runrate=4.17
Sambrook	7-0-21-3
Moodley*	65 (75 balls)
Sambrook took crucial middle order wickets, while Moodley played a great innings in a losing cause. Haha man, how'd I win defending 188 against PY? Unbelieveable.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

And that's the end of the match. Clapo's XI won by 8 wickets.

Got Spin 274-8 (50)
Saunders 104(108) Clegg 58(62) McCammon 1(2) <---- most telling stat imo
Walton 2-40(10) Verhoeven 2-53(10) Meyer 1-53(10)<----- took McCammon's Wicket

Clapo's XI 275-2 (44.3)
Appleyard 116*(115) Stroud 103(97)
Boardman 1-40(10) Pilgrim 1/67(10)

Absolutely stoked ATM!!! Thought i had no chance!!

Meyer got me the start i craved for, bowling McCammon out with his very 1st delivery. Saunders & Clegg really upped the anty then, until Savage came on & got the breakthrough i so badly needed, getting Clegg with the score on 2/119. More of Got Spin's batsmen managed to get starts, but none went on to make it past 30. Walton & Verhoeven were the Stars with the ball, both bowled well during the middle overs, taking wickets at key intervals.

Then Ludlow & Nieuwenhuis came out to face the music for Clapo's XI. Nieuwenhuis went early, but Appleyard came in played the Innings of his life. Both he & Ludlow took it to the bowlers. When Ludlow went with the score on 82, it looked like being a close match. But in came stroud, and with Appleyard took the game away from Got Spin. Appleyard brought up his century with a stroke through the offside. Stroud However, did it in glorious fashion, smashing a Sainsbury delivery over the Mid-wicket fielder for 4.

Still on a high, expecting to be brought back down when facing Jamee or Scaly next week, but meh, i managed to win 1, and exceed all expectations.

These two overs by stroud won it for me tbh

Code:
36.6 2 Pilgrim to Stroud
Good work by Makel in the deep to save the second run is ruined by poor backing up. Pilgrim looks furious!
36.5 4 Pilgrim to Stroud
Stroud has hooked that for four.
36.4 6 Pilgrim to Stroud
A lofted drive back over Pilgrims head; six of the best for that man!
36.3 1 Pilgrim to Appleyard
Lifted over the inner ring to mid wicket.
36.2 1 Pilgrim to Stroud
  Stroud pushes a quick single.
36.1 6 Pilgrim to Stroud
  That has gone into orbit.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
Code:
43.6 4 Sainsbury to Stroud
Stroud picks the shorter ball from Sainsbury and dispatches it to the mid wicket boundary.
And that's a century for Stroud! Well played indeed Sir!
43.5 4 Sainsbury to Stroud
Pulled hard between mid wicket and square leg.
43.4 6 Sainsbury to Stroud
Oh, my word! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a massive six from Stroud.
43.3 1 Sainsbury to Appleyard
Smacked down to long off for the single.
43.2 1 Sainsbury to Stroud
Slogged to long on and only a single taken.
43.1 1 Sainsbury to Appleyard
Runs it away past mid on for a single.

Grewcock 5-1-17-2
Thorpe* 13 (16 balls)

No chance of upsets here, 9 or a 10 wicket win for Kweek's VCC seems like the most likely result.

Well done mate.

Didn't start well with Mccammon getting out for 1. An exceptional and a half batsmen getting out to a proficient wasn't expected. Allen was rested because his fitness was only at fresh, leaving a large gap in batting and bowling. Kamlesh was on low fitness as well which didn't help bowling matters. Full credit to Clap though. So continues my choking in all of the CW battrick cups

I've no idea how that happened but I told you I'd struggle to get second in the group. :p

Beat Cloete fairly easily today, as the dusty pitch at Roar CG worked against him.

Roar CC 132 (40.)
Blatherwick 52 (61), Rampaul 30 (52), Hamed 17* (32)
Tedstone 5/32 (10), Canning 3/28 (10), Erasmus 1/9 (5)

Magical Ponies 5/134 (31.1)
Sutton 68 (85), Tedstone 31 (32), Parr 16 (32)
Moodley 2/17 (9), Mistry 2/36 (7), Lawrenson 1/26 (5)

Roar CC Magical Ponies
Top Order: mediocre competent
Middle Order: mediocre competent
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: feeble respectable
Spin Bowling: quality respectable
Fielding: feeble abysmal
MOTM: Tedstone

Good to see Tedstone take some wickets, he's not done much with the ball for a while. Surprised that Moodley didn't take more than 2 wickets as well, but I'm not complaining :)

My game has started well, against Adams team, which is obviously full strength :p

Tommy Resha (977193)
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, strong batting form, competent bowling form, changeable
A defensive player with respectable leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: Asterix XI
Nationality: West Indies
Age: 20 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 2,029
Wages: £367 p/w

He is a gun, too bad Watkins is bowling at the other end, i could have made 100.

End of Over 2: 13-0, runrate=6.50

Past 10. Thats all i wanted.
My internet connection died last night so I wasn't able to set any orders (it's still screwed up so I'll be lucky if this message actually posts). It used the default orders, which normally has Crabb in it, but since I've sold Crabb it replaced him with Resha who is a worthless bowler.

You did well though, solid knock from Hocking. Whitehorne unsurprisingly ineffective when not bowling in the death overs once again.

Could be an interesting finish at the Vipodome. 47 needed off the last 9 with a feeble and a competent at the crease. If Marc's using bowlers who are decent at all he should take it really.

EDIT: Kadir gone, Sohail still there with his first fifty of any sort. 20 from 5 overs needed.
