Any room in a reserve side for a wonderful-superb?

Sandeep Chanderpaul - 21 yo, BT Rating=42,700
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A destructive player with competent leadership skills and respectable experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: abysmal

Got a wonderful-comp bowler too but assuming that's isn't good enough for a 2nd XI spot.

There should only be a CW 1st XI, a CW 2nd XI and a CW U19 XI, otherwise there are just too many teams. There's no point - it's against the whole idea of having rep teams - to determine who's the "best of the best".

If people want to make the teams, then what does it matter. Its also a good way to keep track of the people who are bordering close to the first XI.

Because it's pointless? A big part of having the CW BT XI is so people can strive to have players good enough to warrant a spot in the XI - and rewarding them for doing so; with both a spot, and the prestige that goes with the ownership of a CW BT 1st XI player.

Also, once it gets beyond the 2nd XI, the teams are getting worse and worse, and it begs the question - who cares? "Wow, that 3rd XI, quality batsman at #3, what a hoot".

Obviously I'm not saying people can't make them, but I personally don't see the point. Horses for courses really. Go nuts if you like.
