Basically a Federation is just a group, which people with similar interests join. Basically they're given a conference on hattrick. To join a federation yu have to be a Supporter (in this case Member).

If not for one or two feds in the oHTer game, Battrick may never have come about - I think it was on one of the fed meet-ups (in London) that the ideas for the game first came together. Half the game staff (and a fair few of the top teams) know each other from those federations.
