Cricket Web Battrick XI

International Coach
Would Chanderpaul when he reaches wonderful make it in the 2nd XI? Wonderful/strong?

An unbelievable 2nd XI there....:-O

nibbs

International Captain
we have more than 32 battrick sides here at cricketweb, so probably we should be looking at 32 XIs

Tom Halsey

International Coach
This is something that was brought up in the Q&A - about Federations in Hattrick - and that something similar ('Associations') might be brought in to BT. My question is - does anyone here play Hattrick? What can you do in a Federation?
Basically a Federation is just a group, which people with similar interests join. Basically they're given a conference on hattrick. To join a federation yu have to be a Supporter (in this case Member).

Mahindinho

State Vice-Captain
federations are lame
If not for one or two feds in the oHTer game, Battrick may never have come about - I think it was on one of the fed meet-ups (in London) that the ideas for the game first came together. Half the game staff (and a fair few of the top teams) know each other from those federations.

UPDATE

1. M Bertos (Victoria Panthers) - exceptional bat
2. M Reed (Withington Wonderers) - wonderful bat
3. G Mccammon (Got Spin) - sensational bat
4. J Duggan (Whenuapai CC) - exceptional bat
5. D Sandwith (Withington Wonderers) - wonderful bat
6. F Watkins (Asterix XI) - exceptional bat, remarkable bowl
7. G Ashton (Asterix XI) - remarkable bat, remarkable w/k
8. T Whitehorne (Asterix XI) - superb bat, exquisite bowl
9. S Moodley (Roar CC) - sensational bowl
10. J Lovegrove (Dalmeny Cricket Club) - sensational bowl
11. G Summers (Scaly Piscine CC) - exquisite bowl

Added Bertos and Ashton and dropped R_D players, he hasn't posted enough.

Suggest that Osman or Chanderpaul come into the 2nd XI side for Ashton.

Could replace Reed or Sandwith, they're all fairly similar. Can't really use his bowling though.

UPDATE:

1. Rujul Abdul kadir: Quality/Respectable Bat
2. Saurav Pak.i: Quality/Strong Bat
3. Suryakant Hitish: Remarkable/Strong Bat, Proficient/Superb Bowl (RFM)
4. Bhupendra Mohammed: Quality/Strong Bat
5. Zesh Mcewen: Superb/Competent Bat
6. Liam Paris: Quality/Feeble Bat
7. Kris Coates: Stong/Proficient Bat, Quality Keeping
8. James Vermaak: Respectable/Feeble Bat, Remarkable/Mediocre Bowl (RS)
9. Wayne Stevens: Mediocre/Competent Bat, Quality/Superb Bowl (RFM)
10. Gene Giles: Worthless/Woeful Bat, Quality/Respectable (LF)
11. Stefan Norris: Worthless/Abysmal Bat, Quality/Respectable Bowl (RS)

With Giles poping to Quality he replaces Hing's spinner. Grady Gedye would be pretty close to respectable/proficient bat and superb/feeble bowler. But i think having four quality plus bowlers is more important then a bowling all rounder.
