this is my top team in batting order

Basically you need some batters with some stamina. All your batsmen except Pollard are going to slow down noticeably between 50 and 100. This isn't so much of a problem if they're batting at 5 or 6, but it is if they're at the top of the order. Also you've two bowlers who have crap stamina - Viljoen would take more nets than they're worth probably and they'll perform worse than a solid mediocre bowler as they are. Street will also perform badly in games because they're a fast bowler and only have abysmal stamina, but they're probably worth the effort - but it'll take a while to get them sorted so they're performing to their skill levels. Your other 3 bowlers are solid and young, so there is the bright side, it's mainly the batting you should look at. Dunno what your finances are like so you might be limited as to what you can do, but you should be able to pick up some small 20-30k sort of range buys that have competent primary and feeble/mediocre secondaries and stamina that you can replace some of the players I've mentioned.

Canning on 2 bat, 2 bowl, one fitness, Tedstone on one bat, one bowl, Fernando on one bowl, Kilkenny on one bat, Parr on one keeping.
Depends what you want to do with Canning really, if you're not going to sell him then I'd cut him back to 1 bat, 1 bowl, 1 fitness. I'd then give one batting net to Griffin. One bowling net to Erasmus. Personally I'd take Parr off their one keeping net, mainly because they're always going to be fairly crap because they're feeble batting - so with the strength of your side you should be looking at a competent or respectable batting with the same sort of keeping skill at least. Once you bought or pulled that player you'd then wonder why you bothered wasting nets on your reject. With your new keeper you'd also get some use out of the secondary pops if you trained them in keeping, because they're a decent bat.

I wouldn't change much there cricketboy, you've got 3 obvious trainees and a couple of possible trainees then nothing really. What you should think about tho is those 3 main trainees are so much better than the rest of your team and will take a big fitness level hit in games because they'll be scoring all the runs and bowling most of the overs - then you've got training on top of this. Make sure you've got some cover (probably have there but I can't be bothered looking properly) for when you've got games where you can rest them. Also you should give them all a fitness net whilst there are no games going on now (in case people didn't know fitness nets have a bigger fitness level hit than normal nets). Basically the higher you can get their stamina the better, this will allow you to train these players and still play them in games.

Yea, having a range of the bowling type is a good thing - but don't worry about it too much yet with the best part of 4 weeks of off-season and most pitches will still be 'green' anyway.

They're ok if you can get them for that, don't go above that tho. They are only a bottom of the level competent so bear that in mind. There are plenty of that sort of player on the market so be patient.

As for your finances you should see what your weekly loss/profit - if you've a weekly loss (and there are no league games/cup games for another 3 weeks as you know) then you'll have to limit yourself accordingly so that you don't get into bad debt. You should get some money back if/when you sell Viljoen

Wait and see. I wouldnt go and make any drastic changes until after ive played a few games and have some sort of idea of what is going on.

Try and get the stamina up of Kinsella and Muralitharan especially as he is your allrounder.

The changes aren't really that dramatic i think, the only change from my OD team is that Quintin bats at 3 instead of 5 and Clayton and Ellis drop down one each. I am training Murali in fitness, and i might only play him the matches against the better sides next season. With Kinsella i have to wait till one of my 18yo pops to strong so i can give him a fitness net. Until he gets to feeble stamina i might play one of my extra seamers in FC, but well see what happens.

Do you think there is any areas i really need to improve?
