Yep, Quite a lot of trainees will be needed next season, since im going to be in the market for some as well, what with islam and thorp both reaching 19. Hopefully, it wont come to that, and the YPs will come through and give me a star. Lookin' for an allrounder,

What sort of depth do you mean?

I currently have a long batting line-up with no stars (all the top 8 are respectable or better I think)

Or do you mean depth in the squad size?

marc, good question. i guess by depth, i mean that when you have to rest certain players, you're able to bring in players of a similiar calibre. obviously, when resting your star batsmen there won't be an adequate similiar batsmn to take his place, but i guess, if you can have your no. 5, 6, 7 batsmen all at simliar levels. for instance, if you've got to rest your no. 6 batsmen, i don't want to have to rest him by having to call on my no.7 feeble batmen etc.

So rotating the batting order might do enough then?

Fair enough - I'm just going to have to work on my bowling depth then, now that's a bit more tricky to address!

I have a fair bit of bowling depth but they're up in years.

RE: Depth

I think for some teams having a larger squad will hurt financially with wages etc.. does anyone really know how much we are going to get a day for FC matches?.... As for my squad i have like 14 players one being a dud because i cannot fire him cos of squad size.
