Battrick Cup Part Three

Adamc

Cricketer Of The Year
Decent enough start against ash, hard and fast pitch so I'm expecting a big score especially if these two stay in for a while:

End of Over 6: 52-0, runrate=8.67
Stevens 3-0-33-0
Cuss* 28 (22 balls)
Wynand 21 (15 balls)

Wanted to bowl first but lost the toss.

Alternative XI 302-5
Sad Decadent XI 294-5

 i thought i wouldn't be able to beat any team in here.. happy tho..

Thanks for that Hakon. I'll do the awards a bit later, haven't decided on them yet but Cuss is at short odds for player of the week. :p

Cup fixtures for next round:

Whenaupai CC [1] v AA for President! [8]
Scaly Piscine CC [4] v College Dropouts [5]
Citizens Erased [6] v Vindscreen VIpers
Dynamo Morpork [7] v Asterix XI [2]

Dalmeny CC the only seed to fall so far, though they rested their star bowler I think. Haven't decided what I'm going to do with the plate fixtures yet, leaning towards delaying it a week and getting these forfeited matches played. Will post again later.

My place or yours Hakon?

Right well I think I'll put the plate fixtures back by a week and try to get the forfeited matches played, which means Jaffna Jets v Robertinho Select XI (already arranged) and Crusaders v bobisback. All the other plate teams can have a bye.
