YP all worthless starting point, 35 ITS wasted. 2 decent pulls from 3 and a bit seasons with max investment.
I thought investment only affected the amount of ITS you could assign though?

My bowlers are getting taken to the cleaners here by 'tinho's batsmen.

End of Over 17: 107-0, runrate=6.29
Norris 4-0-28-0
Gray* 40 (48 balls)
Mcmillan 64 (55 balls)

McMillan's 50 off only 40 balls

Am experimenting a little bit with bowling orders, with Tedstone on attacking and Fernando on normal. I normally just leave everyone on very defensive, but have found that I've recently not been getting many wickets. What do you guys normally do in terms of your bowling orders?

Mcmillan finding some form, very nice to see! Might be an opener yet...

Anchormen 1/332 from 50 overs
Gray 182* (144)
Mcmillan 105 (120)
Millard 40* (38)

Magical Ponies 149ao from 29.3 overs
Canning 73* (75)
Farmer 38 (43)
Mills 3/17 (5.0)
Hignett 3/39 (8.0)

Anchormen win by 183 runs. MoM: Gray

Efficient bowling performance there, Rayno was very expensive (7-0-54-2) but had 4-0-24-2 at one point and got Griffin & Tedstone so I'm not too fussed. The win (in terms of bowling, anyway) was definitely set up by Rayno and Payton (7-1-23-1), Millsy, Mcmillan and Hignett finishing it off. Gray was awesome with the bat, Millard was looking **** but picked it up towards the end, and the Mcmillan experiment appears to have yielded some interesting results. Solid opener IMO.

How bad is Cameron's team, just quietly...

Also, good ratings tbh

Anchormen
Top Order: proficient
Middle Order: mediocre
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: mediocre
Spin Bowling: proficient
Fielding: woeful

Pretty good start from my boys in my cup match, lost an early wicket, but coming back well.

End of Over 18: 78-1, runrate=4.33
Aniston 2-0-12-0
Ellis* 41 (54 balls)
Clayton 35 (49 balls)

Last Wicket: Ferrier b. Senadeera 2 (FOW: 5/1)

Looks like they got three good bowlers, so its going to be a long hard day for my batsmen. I got seven from one and he only got one wicket, the 2nd good bowler is one now and going for six an over. :)

EDIT: Oh no i lost my 2nd wicket, decent partnership though. I really need a big innings from Ellis here:

End of Over 29: 129-2, runrate=4.45
Branch 8-0-36-1
Ellis* 69 (85 balls)
Nurse 0 (2 balls)

Meh, at least Canning did something useful. Can't believe Griffin got out for a duck, he's been rubbish recently. Thanks for the game though.

Man my boys batted so well in the first innings. Ellis and Clayton set it up with a hundred run stand for the 2nd wicket. Then Nurse and Quintin went crazy in the last 10 overs. The move to swap Nurse and Clayton in the batting order seemed to be a masterstroke. I think need to get Ellis stamina up to mediorce pretty soon atleast, cus he really fell away at the end.

Our batsmen have really given us a good chance to make the next round of the cup. Now its all up to the bowlers to back them up. It not a massive total, but if we are good enough we should be able to defend it.

End of Over 50: 266-5, runrate=5.32
Edworthy 10-0-81-0
Allison* 7 (4 balls)
Quintin 51 (34 balls)

EDIT: OMG we are getting smashed, need some wickets pretty soon:

End of Over 13: 78-1, runrate=6.00, reqrunrate=5.11 (266-5)
Jeithoon 2-0-7-0
Senadeera* 33 (33 balls)
Udara 26 (25 balls)

Last Wicket: Sanders lbw b. Dowdall 16 (FOW: 26/1)

End of Over 1: 1-2, runrate=1.00
Jones 1-0-1-1
Gowshall* 1 (1 balls)
Aldred 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Kerwin b. Jones 0 (FOW: 1/2)

Looks like my cup run is over, my bowlers are getting completely smashed. The decision to change my pitch conditions to dusty helped me nullify their bowling, but it also made my quicks ineffective. Muralitharan has been the pick of my bowlers, not surprising considering his a spinner:

End of Over 32: 183-2, runrate=5.72, reqrunrate=4.67 (266-5)
Muralitharan 6-0-23-0
Udara* 68 (68 balls)
Devapriya 41 (41 balls)

EDIT: Ended up lossing in the 47th over:

Jaffna Jets monster hitters
Top Order: competent competent
Middle Order: mediocre mediocre
Lower Order: worthless woeful
Seam Bowling: mediocre respectable
Spin Bowling: mediocre useless
Fielding: woeful feeble

looks like i need to work on my bowling there...
