Very happy with a win first up. Seems as though we could've had a bit more of a go at the end though, might look at having more "Very Attacking" batsmen down the order. Knight, my respectable/mediocre allrounder did well, with 99* and 2/54. My respectable rookie, Mills with 4/61. Hignett was impressive in his debut, 1/44, kept it tight. Batting was very solid indeed.. great start, Wolfenden played his 'anchor' role with Knight well.

Awesome.. I love this game :D Knight got Man of the Match by the way, 99* (80) and 10-1-54-2...

Good stuff Rob.

I'm going to play my Cup match today on Normal instead of Take It Easy to ensure a win (hopefully...) against a much weaker side, but I'll use the match to give a few other players a go. Rocastle will open the batting with Cuss (can't resist the chance for Cuss to get a hat-trick of unbeaten centuries ;)) and Begg will bat at four. Rocastle has been dominant in friendlies, but has had limited chances in league matches, and Begg has never batted in a non-friendly since I bought him. I've got four of my top six set to 'very attacking' (the other two are 'attacking') so hopefully we'll bat first.

Berry will play this match as a specialist batsman instead of an allrounder to allow Partridge to have a bowl. He's my only spinner, and should benefit from having a slow pitch to bowl on. Shortens my batting a bit (usually have Begg at #8, which is why he never bats) but hopefully we won't lose that many wickets. I'm also going to let Badley open the bowling for no apparent reason.

Game Roberthino, Good stuff by Knight. Dove didn't do to badly for me, problem is it's his batting thats holding the team up, I'll rematch you at some point in the future?

Annoying game for my side so far, I'm expecting to get beaten pretty easily but got off to 59-0 after 10 overs before 2 of my best batsmen got run out. 136-4 after 26 overs now, a wide range of scores possible.

bowled 'Lord of the Flings' out for 153, macauley took 4-30 including "
Could have walked for that one! So plumb in front that the umpire was embarrassed for him. Thats out! "
