Ah don't worry they're all better than mine. Canning is my only proficient bowler, and his batting and stamina could have him opening for me quite comfortably, while Griffin's (strong batting) just a freak in terms of everyone else on my team.

Cahalane popped to proficient bowling, Armstrong up to exceptional concentration, Dillon to superb concentration (shame he always underachieves with the bat, think his hidden stats must be a preference to middle order batting or something). Pace popped in stamina.

Boo. Only got one pop:

Vimesh Malik - 19 yo, BT Rating=26,491
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, proficient batting form, superb bowling form, invigorated
A destructive player with superb leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: competent Concentration: superb
Bowling: proficient Consistency: strong
Fielding: proficient

Probably will take his fielding net away soonish and give someone another primary, might do the same with Gillespie as his fielding net experiment doesn't seem to be working.

Fielding or wicket keeping makes it go faster, but bowling will make it go as well :)

Just the one pop this week I think:

Maurice Aldred - 19 yo, BT Rating=8,061
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, respectable batting form, superb bowling form, moderate
An attacking player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: respectable Concentration: competent
Bowling: competent Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: abysmal

Now he gets in my team as a bowler as well as a batsman, instead of a batting allrounder :p

Hopefully he'll go proficent in batting and competent in stamina soon.

Can I expect him to pop in bowling again before he turns 20 guys? He's got 1 bowling net at the moment, but I'd give him two if he'd get to respectable by 20 I think.

Ive got fielding and wicketkeeping nets, and three bowling nets. For around 4 or 5 weeks now, and still no pops. Anyone have any idea why?

A bowling net only counts once to consis changing I think (so 1 bowling will have the same affect to consis as 3 bowling)

went to bed last night, putting a bid of £790,000 on this guy. tbh, i didn't expect it'd be anywhere near enough and i figured i'd be outbid sooner or later. turns out i was wrong and i have a new player...

Dwayne Waddell (327806)
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A steady player with mediocre leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Whenuapai CC
Nationality: England
Age: 18 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 14,037
Wages: £1,868 p/w
Stamina: abysmal Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: strong Concentration: proficient
Bowling: worthless Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: feeble.

stamina is obviously a big concern but it ultimately it isn't the hardest skill to combat and improve. he'll receive his stamina until he reaches competent. one question, any idea how close he might be to surperb batting?.

Just one pop then for my team, although my side is starting to look quite good. i'm hoping that Sweeney and Mutasa are closing in on strong bowling which will leave my side looking very healthy indeed.

Gee this sucks, I noticed several of the WI NT players dropping three/four levels of fitness after yesterday's training so I posted it on the bug forum, got this reply:

When I fixed the training last week, I noticed that there was a bug with the way that FL was being dropped. It only took into account 1 session. It is now taking into account them all.
Seems like two nets = one level drop, so players can potentially drop five levels of fitness per week just from training. Really annoying as it's taken so long just to get the NT players up to a decent level of fitness, and now most of them have crap fitness again.

Edit: there's an announcement to this effect on the front page as well.

Agree with Dave, 1800 is pretty much the minimum wage for a strong, with superb being around 3200, so he'd be low strong unless he's received training (quite possible that he's received training given that he's only 18). Might be worth mailing the manager to ask if he's been trained this season.

Yea I was wondering how much of a drop the nets would have now. None of my players are on more than 2 a week at present, so I couldn't really gauge anything. Think I might have switch to 5 fitness coaches or something silly on week 12/13 or thereabouts - have 3 primaries due to pop around that time, get a few key players up an extra level in stamina.

Glad I have 10 bowlers that are competent or better anyway... virtually no batting reserves worth mentioning tho.
