I put some onto fielding because at the moment I'm playing a specialist fielder at number 11!

When does the 6th bowler rule come in or is it coming in?
Yeah I wondered what that guy was doing when I played you. He took the catch of my highest-scoring batsman on that day so I guess it was worth having him there!

6th bowler rule was supposed to come in this season but apparently it didn't work properly in testing, so it has been delayed indefinitely, hopefully next season though.

The problem comes if I need him to bat (or my keeper for that matter - a right pair of rabbits!)

I'm actually considering putting the new bloke up for transfer since he won't really add anything this season, and I could do with some cash - people's thoughts?

Depends if you've got net space or not - you'll obviously have no problems winning your div so you can do without him, but there's plenty of time to train him into a nice player before next season (when you'll presumably face some decent opposition). You're training Verde I assume so it will be hard to find room to properly train two allrounders at the same time, in which case it might be sensible to sell, he should fetch a very handy price anyway.

Oh seriously? I was under the impession that respectable was around 800. Guess I was wrong.
Respectable is £650-£1095 it seems (without other primaries being feeble or better).

That guy would've been trained up from high-competent before he was transferred to you Andy. Never seen a respectable below 640 myself (apart from those who have been trained to that level).

@ Marc: not really sure, but I think you could get 500k+ fairly easily.

Just sold Hera for 822k, not too bad (bought him for 642k with the same skills). Attempted to change my pitch to flat, changed from cracked to green, interesting. Should be a better pitch for me anyway.

That sounds good - think I shall list him, that sort of money will help me no end.
Yeah, the market is a bit fickle though so don't blame me if he doesn't sell. :p Saw a respectable/respectable 17yo with average secondaries go for over 900k a few weeks back, but comp/comp players often don't go for much, so just hope you're in luck.

Very happy with that - I can now take Mcmillan's fielding net away, as well as Gray's fitness net. By my calcs, Mcmillan is 7-8 weeks away from a bowling pop with 1 net, so he's really starting to look good. Since I've had him - 2 x Stamina pop, 1 x Batting, 1 x Bowling, 4 x Concentration and 4 x Consistency. Excellente.

Hmm.. I'd be reluctant to train #2, if only because of his worthless consistency. #1 also is quite a while behind primary wise. To be honest, I wouldn't train either. Find someone who is maybe a competent primary with feeble/mediocre secondaries.
