i sold my team's spinner. i'm not really sure if it was a good or bad move. but now i'm planning on saving up my teams money so i can buy a new spinner, with strong bowling, and preferably, mediorce or better batting.

I don't think Mutasa is very close to Strong, wages of 1,250, I'd say he's fairly low proficient. My spinner, who popped to Strong yesterday, had wages of 1,759 and I'd been giving him 2 nets since the wage recalculation.

I'm not adam but definitely get 10 coaches. What coaches you get depend on who you're wanting to train. I would have at least 1 fitness coach tho. If you want any really specific advice to get you going you can always copy & paste your squad or the relevant player on here.

How much were they roseboy?

hahahaha, Nooga99, you're playing the guy that won my league last season, Taren Pt Hotel CC  Coincidence. You should beat him, he's got mainly proficients I believe. His bowling is better than his batting, so I'm predicting a low scoring match.

Yea they're pretty near to bottom of the level, they could be high feeble and bottom competent, or lowish competent and bottom feeble or anywhere in between.

As Got_Spin says these are the only two worth training. You can bid on the 17yo yourself to make sure you keep him. Even the 19yo is only really worth one or two at most batting nets. I'd train the 17yo with 2 batting, 2 bowling, 2 stamina, 1 fielding and whatever else you like (wicket-keeping is an option because it increases the rate at which concentration and consistency pop, but anything else bar another fielding net is an option).
I'd avoid playing them in a game until they have at least woeful stamina, or abysmal if you want them as a lower order batsman.

With these nets they'd be this minimum at the end of the season:

Prasanna Karthikeyan - 17 yo, BT Rating=1,776 [transfer listed]
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, competent batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A defensive player with worthless leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: proficient Concentration: competent
Bowling: competent Consistency: competent
Fielding: woeful

Is it better to just train a couple guys so they become guns, or is ok to try a handful of guys, so you don't rely so much on 1 or 2 players. These were the guys i was thinking about training up:

Inoka Rangana - 21 yo, BT Rating=4,447

I would be reluctant to train the guys in bold, you could train these guys all season with 1/2 nets (effectively costing £40k per net for the season) and then find there's someone on the transfer market cheaper than that with the same sort of stats. Mitten looks like they're a bottom of the level mediocre and Rangana a very low respectable. I would certainly give a bowling net to Rangana, they'll probably be your gun bowler for a while with that temperament (destructive bowlers usually decimate inferior batsmen, but can get hammered if the batsmen are better - at least that's my experience anyway). Give whatever remaining nets to Mitten, they're not a great trainee but they are 17 and you'll get value for the training you put into them.

If these are the only guys you've got to train I'd be on the look out for another 17yo quickly.

my youth pull from last week was this guy yeah

William Albrighton (427433)
LH Batsman, RM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A defensive player with feeble leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Lancashire
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 1,428
Wages: £388 p/w

Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: abysmal
Fielding: worthless

now i sold a competent+worthless everything else for 80,000 last week and another pretty rubbish comp for 75000 this week. How far is this guy from popping, i figure he can't be that far away as i have a comp with wages of 415 and its not like either of his other primaries are giving him jack. Might be able to recoup some of my YA cost if he pops in a couple of weeks

Hard to tell with the first guy because respectable (w-keeping) is the main contributor to the wage, if they're being trained in w-keeping let us know how long it takes for that to pop (the number of nets since the wage was calculated).

The second guy could be anywhere from say 1/6 to 1/3 of the way up the level. 6 weeks for a full level, so that would mean 4 to 5 weeks.
