All seem to be first XI except for 3 bowlers (Gleadall, Qadri and Melton), so that means the Aussie batsmen may have some fun.

Reece and Godleman are their usual opening pair. Palladino is one of those long term second division medium pacers who knows how to get hundreds of second division wickets. Rest wouldn't usually get a gig in first class.

If memory serves, Palladino did well against them last tour.

EDIT: Turns out it was with the bat (82 off 68 from #9), but hey.

Leus du Plooy has played a bit in the County Championship this season and has a pretty good First Class record overall - albeit only 50 matches.

Currently 28 not out.

So Reece is the leading wkt taker for Derbs this year with 43 wkts and he opens the batting too.
Says a lot about Div 2 cricket. IIRC his bowling is basically just medium-pace trundler crap that would go the distance on non-seaming decks.

Surprise surprise, the guy with a FC average of 46+ is scoring runs and the rest of the team with averages in the low 30s have failed.

Khawaja and Harris could be batting Wade out of a spot here...and yet the boling attack is a couple of teenagers and a 24 yr old making his FC debut...nice aet up England lol

If no wickets fall Kwawaja might have to retire out after reaching his hundred to give Smith a net.

EDIT: Out next ball for 72.
