Looked to struggle a wee bit against pace in the Windies too, tbf.

Can confirm the missus gets a bit of a wide on for him, although invariably adds to qualifier "for a ginge" to any eulogising she does.

Of course it should be in doubt. He's been picked out of position based on a punt, some success in another format and desparation. "In doubt" doesn't mean "should be dropped", but such players definitely shouldn't get free rides without actually doing anyhing. His place should be under question until (if) he cements it

He deserves more than two Tests in the openers spot, not suggesting he should be picked indefinitely!!! “Not be in doubt’ doesn’t mean he’s an automatic spot for the next five series regardless of performances, thought that may have been obvious.

Lots of Adonises on CW it seems. Bairstow is perfectly decent looking, quite handsome, even.

If that's the comparison Bairstow's ok. I imagine a couple on here to be chinless antifa fatties, judging by their impeccable right on attitudes.
