This may well be the case, and it might also be enough given the other mob’s batting as well
In fact, it will surely be enough given how england are traveling against the might of Ireland.

We won't be batting 10 innings. Calling it now.

Unfortunately that is far more likely to be because of England's dreadful climate than any innings wins

But we'll only need 6h for two innings. This will be a series of 3 day tests given the strengths of each side's bowling and the frailties of each side's batting.

I'd be surprised if they cross 2,200 runs tbh. Think that's the upper limit for this side. Good chance they won't even crack 2K.

Same goes for England ftr. Shaping up to be a real low scoring series.

c.2000 total for the series.
They have crossed 2000

1871 in total
Too low

2345 in total.
Just past what they have at the moment: 2283

They did already. 83 more than what you estimated.
2 good bowling attacks and 2 rubbish batting sides. I reckon 2366 for the Aussies.
83 away from that mark.
Long shot

Looks like total for the series would be just under 3000. Didn't account for smith.exe and england's bowling will look toothless at times in their own conditions.
