    I don't think I've ever seen anyone make the 'Batting higher means a batsman will score more runs' argument before. Atleast not for Test cricket, it's a somewhat valid argument in ODIs and T20s.

    Its a valid argument in tests if your tail ainít scoring

    I guess itís a balancing act with wanting him to rest between innings and maximising him. Should have been at six all series in Stokes absence though

    Vince is on the chopping board IMO, would not be surprised to see him gone if we lose this test, with 2 free hits to whoever comes in, then a reassessment when Stokes become available again.
