Ya I'm here. I don't mind this hyperbole from GIMH on a day when he has reason to be happy. And I don't dislike Root either - in fact, in this England batting lineup he's the 2nd batsman I like, behind Bell and slightly ahead of Buttler and Moeen.

    Shri's case was different.

Warner actually got some shape away all through that over. All from the hand, like, but looked nice

So he's saving the Mitches for the new ball or just doesn't trust them right now.

What glorious times we live in - Smith, KW, Root, ABdV, Amla, Rahane, Kohli all set to play a good few years.

Has Lyon been under-bowled today? The ball is 70 overs old - we have Watson and Warner bowling from 2 ends and no Lyon. He hasn't been very expensive either.

Root has to be rested for the ODIs with his back. Give Taylor a go in that form of the game.

Absolutely dreadful last 30 minutes from Aus. I realise they're sitting in for the new ball but christ this has been bad bowling.

Thought Stokes looked really comfortable against him. Might be why he's not on.

The RR at 3.9, great going. I hope I don't jinx it. need to start gambhiring for England
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

And a wicket. Root perhaps looking a little tired. Could start a fight back with the new ball coming.
