Otherwise I agree with the idea. Makes sense
Swann was never an 'attacking' field setter though.

Mate has posted photos of him out with the English team after the match. They don't look like a bad bunch of blokes. Have asked for verification they are actually complete and utter ****s so the rest of my Ashes viewing experience isn't ruined.

Didn't see Anderson or Broad in the shot, so there's still a glimmer of hope.
R.I.P Craigos, you were a champion bloke. One of the best

How much credit are we giving Trevor Bayliss for this win and in particular Cook's captaincy? Like, 100% right?

    What was Johnson's highest speed
The highest speed I saw was 142
And a few in the 139/140 mark

Did he get higher than that ?

He was certainly very good in this match, although this article gives him the royal reach-around in a massively glorified man hug. When he's good, he's very good, and if he finds this form consistently then we're in some trouble if the other bowlers bowl reasonably well too.

Not sure if this article has gone heavy enough on the hyperbole though!

Broad's a bit like KP imo. Not one of the great players but definitely a player who puts in great performances.

Missed the final day, but delighted that we won so convincingly. Also love the fact Twatto got out LBW again, and reviewed it again. Amazing. Really hope he keeps his spot, I'd be happy to enjoy his incompetence for the next few weeks!

Any adult should know how this works.
But apparently not Lehmann. Still, if the manager is already feeling sorry for his lads and musing on the injustice of it all, that can only be for the good.

Any deck that offers up 1100+ runs and 40 wickets in 4 days can't be all that bad.

Sure, as gracious hosts, it'd be nice if yer Leekists had provide a wicket like concrete and the Fremantle Doctor, but it's about the best cricket pitch I've seen for a test in Cardiff.
