    Best news.

An overrated, egotistical cancer on the English team.

Is there another thread with serious discussion on this - I would like to read what CW seriously has to say about it.

Proudly against the bring back Bennett movement since he is injury prone and won't last 5 days.

I get the impression many in and around the English team share your view. It's been reported it was a unanimous vote to get rid of him.

Yeah in Cricket Chat, called 'It's Tough Being Me...'

"In the recent Ashes there were rumours of a dressing-room row between Pietersen and Alastair Cook in Sydney but some observers reckoned Pietersen was just his usual high maintenance self, albeit one that defeat magnified to the point where Cook and England now feel they will be better off without him."

When KP returns he will be the banana..

I've already seen a couple of posts from him over there. Go easy on him he is still taking the 12-1 result pretty hard.

Wonder who'll be first out with their warts and all memoirs of England's worst ever tour?

One would think Pietersen will get the biggest book offer. But Swanny has a head start on the pack and now that Pietersen is officially gone it gives Swann the chance to add a chapter.

Swann will have his out soon I reckon. KP may hold off till his career is over so he doesn't jeopardise any future 20/20 earnings.

I reckon Swann would have been working away fervishly on his since he abandoned the ashes tour - perhaps earlier.

Swann's true thoughts on Pietersen will make some reading.
