They are generally pretty bad when they don't have someone in Bangalore watching it on a monitor

Jos Butler with another handy innings there. Hopefully Gilo/Cooky (or whoever decides the batting order) won't stick him down at 8 again! Would be very surprised if one of either Cook or Root isn't dropped for this ODI.

PM's XI always stronger under Labor. Or a cricket tragic PM. Or anyone but Tony Abbott.

Actually, picking 7 bowlers didn't exactly help them very much. Who do they think they are, New South Wales?

A win with Bop and Jos starring, doesn't get better than that.

pretty sick Finny can't even get a game in a warmup. Imagine how bad he must be sending them down.

He's a pretty decent ODI bowler too. Certainly better than Bresnan.

Steven Finn?s miserable tour to Australia could be cut short with England considering sending him home early - Telegraph

Hoult is hardly the most reliable source but would be pretty shocking if true

Lots of guys look great in the nets but terrible in match conditions whilst the reverse can also be true

In any event, not sure how he can be expected to develop any confidence if they refuse to pick him for even the most friendly of friendlies

ironically, he'd probably be one of the only Englishmen who's confidence hasn't been shattered by the tour.
