If England are serious about winning games in 50 over cricket, then they need to be considering this one day team:

    Alex Hales
    Michael Lumb
    Ian Bell
    Gary Ballance
    Eoin Morgan
    Jos Buttler
    Ben Stokes
    Stuart Broad
    James Tredwell
    Chris Jordan
    James Anderson

    Spares: James Taylor, Steven Finn

Cook is a serial stodger and takes away too much momentum at the top of the order. Root is just out of his depth at the moment (maybe in the future). You really need the top 4 to be able to give the innings some impetus even though these two openers average less than Cook and Bell. With Anderson injured/homesick at the moment, you could have Finn in there.
    Inappropriate signature.

6/149 in the 30th. England will surely declare and take the mandatory doubling of their score.

England have won! PM XI bowled out for 92, England winning by 172 runs.

Next someone will tell me the Thunder have won a game.

    England's first win on tour?
