you were supposed to make a joke
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

nah jesus good on him. People go through various stages in their lives when they're not happy with themselves, their actions or some other variable. Hope the guy pulls things together.

Apparently the whole team were there but Prior was the only one to do anything:

Cook: couldn't work out a tactic or plan to help
Carberry: made a start but couldn't quite get there to help
Root: just stood there with a stupid smile
KP: too self absorbed to notice something was wrong
    Bell: Dunno, meh
Stokes: Tried to help but kept knocking things with his hands
    Broad: too scared
Swann: got scared and ran away
Anderson: arm was broken trying to help
Panesar: wanted to help but Cook wouldn't let him

    morgieb and Hooksey like this.
I shiver, thinking how easy it is to be totally wrong about people - to see one tiny part of them and confuse it for the whole, to see the cause and think its the effect or vice versa.

Really top stuff from Prior. Anyone who's been in his situation before will know it's not easy to think of appropriate things to say at such a time. It's good that the rest of them didn't get involved as well.
