I consider AB better than Bell but not as good as Pietersen, but I'd say he's closer to Bell than he is to KP, which is why I'd say not in that bracket, but maybe I'm being harsh.

Bell isn't that far off though. A lot of the stuff he's traditionally been criticised doesn't get mentioned by the average fan (i.e. not on CW) when it comes to AB, for odd reasons.
Really think ABDV is coasting ahead of Bell and KP ATM, probably Cook too. Not sure how it's even an issue. Cook is still younger though so who knows.

Is this yet another series we write off KP's poor performance because, hey he scored those runs against Murali, Steyn and McGrath.

Problem with that criteria is it just means you have to score against either Australia, England or India. No one cares about the rest of the series.

But considering how England were so lol vs. Pakistan in the UAE last year, I don't see why his awesome performances vs. Pakistan there should be discounted.
Are you talking about AbD's 278*? Mate, he is a wonderful player but that innings was probably one of his worst tons in terms of quality. Pakistan gave him a million lives and the umpires chipped in as well.
