I'm quietly confident we'll see at a least one ball bowled at Manchester.
And what a ball.

RIP Fardin Qayyumi and Craig Walsh - true icons of CricketWeb.
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?
With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left
RIP Phillip Hughes (1988-2014)
Jos wasn't exactly blessed with Frank Sinatra's voice was he.
Ouch, Stokes as 3rd seamer is going to get ugly.
Tbh the more I think about it, and looking at the other options, I don't really have much of a problem with him as third seamer. Would be nice to give Jordan a go, but I wouldn't put money on either him or Overton doing any better.
I guess if he stands up makes a name for himself then it was a good move. Just not sure he is good enough.
Are any of our reserves actually good enough? Who knows.
In theory it's a pretty sick batting lineup with tremendous depth and more contrasting styles than recent times. Even Ravi at 6 looks good these days. Of course the batting will need to be very good given the bowlers on show.
Oh Finny Boyl.
bring back hughes
