Does seem the ultimate Mickey Bliss take that an Irishman who formerly played for Ireland in ODIs will be captaining England in the city of his birth.

Presume we'll play Rankin too, just because we can.
Cricket Web's 2013/14 Premier League Tipping Champion

    - As featured in The Independent.

"as much a news event as an actual footballer, a worthy stop-start centre forward, but an all-time hyper-galactico when it comes to doing funny things with cars and hats, a player whose signing proves once again that the Premier League is still undoubtedly the best in the world when it comes to doing things with cars and hats."

Pretty sure Mogs donned the armband when they played over there in 2011 as well. England are fond of this sort of thing, KP made his international debut in SA and his captaincy debut against the same oppo.

I really think it's just coincidence.

Every post of Brumby's is like an education. I had no idea why we said taking the Mickey until now, thanks BB.

England arrive in Ireland as the unloved neighbours | Cricket News | Global | ESPN Cricinfo

Should be an interesting and possibly heated contest then, this article presents the ECB in a very bad light though

    Pretty bitter article.

On their last visit here the response of one prominent player to a request for an autograph was to tell a nine-year-old to "f*** off".
This reeks of BS, but having looked at the squad from our last visit, if anyone was that stupid, my money is on Dernbach.

Nah I'm pretty sure it was meant to be Trott. I think it was a kid who was either Trent Johnson's son or a friend of his son . Johnson came out and accused trott on twitter and then deleted it - probably because he realised it was stupid to go on the say so of a 9 year old and it was probably bull****.

The guy writing it obviously has a big chip on his shoulder. Seems to have decided to recount every tale he's heard in the pub or second hand.

The repeated use of "grooming" is quite nasty and deliberately ignorant as well.
Every 5 years we have an election and have to decide who are the least obnoxious out of all the men. Then one gets in and they age really quickly. Which is always fun to watch.

Garbage article. He'd have more of a point about the players being rested if they weren't also missing the Australia series.
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!
