Would have liked to see David Willey in the squad but overall I am more intrigued to watch now than I would be with the same old names.
    Surely not serious...

The answer in this country is to cut down on the number of ODIs that are played.

Well no because it's ODIs that brings in revenue.

England is probably unique in that when Sky buy England's TV rights they're mostly paying for the Test rights.

logistically yes, ODIs bring in the money. But they come at the expense of tests wayyyyyy too often

Missing those 5 isn't ideal but they could rest even more big names IMO and still get credit in my eyes as there's no Dernbach in there.
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.

You'll be crying out for Dernbach once Overton and Jordan have played a couple of games!

I have no beef with resting players. Always seems like we're pulling it out of our arses when we come to name our World Cup squad, this time round we've given heaps of players a chance.
