Anderson. Just because he's been off for a couple of games doesn't mean he won't steadily accumulate wickets at the rate he has been for the last 3 years. Broad is much more of a burst of wickets bowler but he might get more and more reliable as time goes by.

A fair few years difference in them though, Stuey for me.

Broad is four year older. In four years you'd expect him to get 120odd. He also seems more capable of getting big hauls than a post 30 year old Anderson.

Only worry for Broad is their contrasting injury records.

Interestingly Jimmeh finished the last Ashes series with 212 wickets.

Broad should break whatever record Jimmeh sets.

4 years age difference. If Broad stays fully fit, that gives him roughly another 50 tests to make up the difference, so really even if he never becomes the Ambrose-esque nightmare bowler that he has the potential to be, he should still sail past Anderson. To put things in perspective, at Broad's age Anderson had taken just 140 test wickets at 34.

This for me.

Anderson may be remembered as the better bowler even if Broad passes him, but Broad has plenty of wickets already and heaps of time left.

Yeah Broad will probably pass him because of the time factor. Neither will end up an all time great in World terms but both will be in English terms.

Broad will get an injury in a year or two that ruins his bowling, but he'll then get back in the Test team and finish his international career opening the batting with Cook

Broad has his heel to worry about and plays in all forms of the game. I see Finn passing both of them in the end.
