Geez it is an interesting one though. If an ump reckons it's hitting the stumps but the batsman's edged it and so gives it not out, and then it turns out the batsman hasn't edged it and it goes to umpires call, shouldn't it essentially be the same situation we're in now? As in the umpire's call would now be 'out?'

Why wasn't it out, really? If the third umpire can check for either caught or LBW it should imply that the batsman can be given out for either? Pissweak Aleem Dar.
