Warner on the other hand can make big runs, and would be better suited to 3 imo.
Seeing off the new ball doesn't really achieve much if you're not ticking the scoreboard along.

Another side-note : Is the Aussie side fielding the most number of left hand bats in a long long time?

I couldn't really care less in the context of this team atm if the scoreboard is ticking along or not when the ball is still new. The most important thing is that it is seen off though, because otherwise our middle order is exposed like it is now. In any case, Watson usually does keep the scoreboard ticking?

Are you serious? We have 3 left hand bats in our entire 11. Its one of the least we've had in a long time.

Why doesn't Broad bowl this length more often? He actually looks a good bowler rather than an average one.

Warner looked like crap tbh. Good nut but that wasn't a real openers defense.

This sort of swining, seaming day is where Khawaja has been at his best for Qld. #ashes
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

    Oh that is just lovely.

Khawaja is not a test batsman.

I wouldn't accuse Watson of not getting the scoreboard moving.

    He never does.

Aussies bowled well as a unit yesterday as they have throughout the summer. Yes England could have batted better but they weren't allowed to for the majority of the time and had brainfarts due to pressure.

Safe to say today if Australia get skittled for less than 200 that no credit can be given to the bowlers as it all the bats fault.
