And predictably enough, this is all too easy, with the new ball allowing them to score more freely against tired bowlers. Captaincy by numbers and all that.

cant believe we haven't seen the customary shot of all Clarke's gloves sitting on the boundary edge yet

Who was it who said LCCC might produce an absolute road to ensure they get 5 days? That is ringing true so far.

7 wickets in the first hour my prediction for tomorrow.

England to bat until Sunday lunch.

Oz out second dig for 12. England win by an innings.

The only two blokes who missed out with the bat didn't do their home work in India.

Coincidence? You decide.

Don't think it was a road for the first two sessions tbh. By no means bad to bat on, but not a road.

They need to tell us the margins of error on it so we can actually work out if the umps call zone is reasonable
Finally someone asks a pertinent question.

The problem is that the margin of error isn't a fixed value. The further the distance from the stumps that the batsman is hit, the larger the margin of error. The fewer the number of cameras that return good data, the larger the margin of error.

He bowled well though. He doesn't always have to take wickets for the England attack to fire but when he's actually having an off day and bowling poorly I think it can struggle a bit.
I said this a month ago when ****tards like Flem were trying to argue that Cook or Swann were England's most important player.

Smiffy is 30 runs away from fully gaining the support of Australian public IMO. Watto one failure away from losing it (if he hasn't already).
