Jimmy seems to not have as much control around the wicket. It worked against rubbish Pakistani bats when he was hooping it around Trent Bridge in 2010 but he's allowing Rogers to score on both sides of the wicket at the moment.

Nothing unusual about Rogers' play here, tbh. One of those blokes who can get on a roll and turn it into a run-a-ball double. Did similar against the Aussies a few years ago.

Rogers has played well. Very un-Rogers like innings. Hope he makes a big one. This is the pitch to do it on.

The leading edge from Rogers closing the face on one angled into his pads seems the real danger here. Even the one he put away to the midwicket boundary could easily have gone bad, so I wasn't surprised he did what he did next ball.

Everywhere else though he has looked the goods. Drives have been delicious.
