A few depressing ones from an English point of view:

2013/14 is the first five test Ashes series in which an England side has lost all 100 wickets

The first innings at Sydney was the first ever in tests in which all the English top five in the batting order were dismissed for 7 or less.

The 18 players used is the equal highest amount utilised by an away side.

    - As featured in The Independent.

"as much a news event as an actual footballer, a worthy stop-start centre forward, but an all-time hyper-galactico when it comes to doing funny things with cars and hats, a player whose signing proves once again that the Premier League is still undoubtedly the best in the world when it comes to doing things with cars and hats."
    - Barney Ronay on Mario Balotelli

1909 and 1950, of course, featured sticky wickets....
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

Love how Warne was a better performer than Bopara.

2 more ODI defeats will see us set an English record for successive defeats. Currently on 9, record stands at 10
