I've been on this since before the tour began; the absolute dogplop keeping (which really can't be overstated) seems to have blinded folk to the fact he averages 40 as a test batsman.

Not too many Aussies can claim that currently.
Wade can't claim that currently either; he averages 34.

Better option than Khawaja or Hughes or Cowan, surely to ****ing Christ?
There's no way he's a better bat than Hughes IMO. Khawaja and Cowan are definitely more debatable though.
