Oz selectors have got what they wanted - batting practice for England

Same result next week with NSW Invitational X1 being stacked with batsmen and no bowlers

hussey goes ahead and tries to defend Bailey's performances in the shield last year
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

I appear to be the only one who likes Huss

320 out the window, but 0 down at the end of the day would be cool.

Again, I haven't heard him, but I suspect he'll be a bit like Strauss - with some useful stuff but clearly very very new to the whole commentary thing

Healy saying very tight then made me involuntarily shudder.

Yeah, he is very positive at the moment is Huss.

Right so I just watched one ball. Given that it was a floaty 130kmh half-volley a foot outside leg stump, I think I can see why the scorecard is the way it is based on that.

Healy advocating bowling on leg stump with the new ball, with the score at 0/290. Perhaps that's why Ian never quite captained Australia.

Meanwhile, Lyon gets in on the act at the MCG to leave the Vics seven down. Rogers still going strong.

Think the Gosford Martin Shield Second XI attack playing in lieu of Australia A did a really good job today :-/

So one would think this effort from Carberry would secure his spot??

So Root back to No6 (where he should have stayed) just leaves the 3rd seamer to nut out before Brisbane and we're set.
