Oh I absolutely agree, although Haddin would probably make it despite some truly ******** shots of late.

If Prior bats well, then it's very close in the batting stakes, though I reckon Prior's kept better.

I think Prior has kept better as well, so a Prior score will tilt it.

Prior has been brilliant keeping, I'd have him in for that. Especially since he didn't really get much chance to bat on the two ocassions when there were roads (Adelaide and latter part of Brisbane).

Have you watched any of the series?

How on Earth you can claim that Johnson has performed "much better" than Swann if you have I would love to know.

The 4 seamers I referred to in that post who are in my team are; Harris, Siddle, Tremlett and Anderson. Thanks.

Looks like neither Swann nor Johnson makes it into mine. Watson over Strauss as they both have done equally well but the former can be a 5th bowling option needed in a line-up with 4 pacers.

Yeah team has to be that IMO. I think Watson as a player has been a bit better than Strauss but the captaincy makes up for it.

Sanga isn't the best off spinner in the history of cricket? News to me.

Very hard to leave someone out who has basically won a test match on their own.

I thought long and hard about Mitch, based on Perth alone. Agree with you that there is definitely an argument for him ahead of Siddle.

When you have consistency in Anderson and Tremlett there is no good reason to exclude the explosiveness of Johnson. Siddle has been impressive in more tests than Johnson, but nowhere near as game-changing.

Hussey over Collingwood, Siddle over Bresnan and then just the rest being the England line-up
