Anyone get the feeling that howardj thinks Australia played **** this series?

I think Warne's op might be a bit biased based on his experiences with Buchanan. Obviously, you need to have some technicians who can provide the kind of computer analysis required to improve players and I am sure England utilize it a fair bit in their preparations. However, as a player I'd be far more inclined to hear such suggestions coming from Andy Flower's mouth than Buchanan's.
Tendulkar = the most overated player EVER!!
Beckham = the most overated footballer EVER!!
Vassell = the biggest disgrace since rikki clarke!!

Spot on mate. Really hoping we can sneak home late day five here and square the series.

England faced a pretty weak opponent this series, and thats why they won 3-1, but they showed class by winning by an innings each time as well. They have a real chance of getting number 1 and staying there a bit, in the next 1-2 years. South Africa will be there competition. 2013 will mean Sehwag (34) Dravid (39) Laxman (38) Khan (34) Tendulkar (39). what a shame.
    With much love & smiles.

Fair but it can backfire. Good player doesn't necessarily = awesome coach or even good advice. Greg Chappell, for example.

Well yes but whilst not all good players make good coaches, I think someone with almost no cricket experience a la Buchanan simply is in no position to be dispensing advice to others. The same goes with all the 'technical experts' who have basically only held a ball while having an orgasm in their bedroom.

What a disappointing series. By the end I just wanted it to finish. If there's not some sort of fall out at the top I'll stop watching Australian cricket
