Ah that was a really terrible shot.

Wtf is the point of sitting on the spinner who's played 6 games if you're gonna hook a 90mph bouncer?

With the night watchman in we now have Bell batting at 7 almoast a given he is going to be stranded with tail again.

Cook might have a pretty good shot at pushing the leading run scorers in tests if he maintains this rate....5000 runs and he is only 26

Warnie says Beer has bowled well.

Is he watching a different game. No better than Doherty who was out of his depth.

Yeah did he not learn anything from Collingwood & Bell's wickets at Melbourne don't try and hook the ball sliding across you, above shoulder height at 90mph.

Should smash all English records and be up in the top 5 runscorers worldwide by the end of his career as long as he doesn't lose the plot completely.

Seems a little illogical that he isnt batting above Collingwood at the moment. Id bat him above KP as well, KP has been pretty horrendous bar one knock this series.
Tendulkar = the most overated player EVER!!
Beckham = the most overated footballer EVER!!
Vassell = the biggest disgrace since rikki clarke!!

With the square leg slip, Cook needs to really play much straighter

To be fair 9 overs for 26 at 2.88 eco with one missed wicket and the just then really close chance. He hasn't bowled badly at all.

Disagree. Not saying Beer is any good, but he's better than Doherty. He has an element of control, gives it some flight as well.

Anderson may as well throw the bat, hate nightwatchmens in the morning

Eh? Thought he played pretty well today in tough conditions to stabilise the innings. Horrendous shot to get out yes, but hardly a horrendous innings. He did the same in Melbourne, he was really important in England consolidating on that morning session when Siddle had it nipping around.

tbf without Jimmy the tail looks pretty healthy. Bresnan 9, Swanny 10, Tremlett 11.
Every 5 years we have an election and have to decide who are the least obnoxious out of all the men. Then one gets in and they age really quickly. Which is always fun to watch.

Warne reckons the game is evenly poised, is he talking out of his arse for the sake of it?

England just 113 behind with 7 wickets left. Bat 2 more sessions (not impossible) and be around 100 ahead and that is if the Aussies suddenly find a way of taking wickets which apart from Perth hasn't looked likely all series. I know which dressing room i'd rather be in tonight and it aint the home one.

Poor last three balls from Johnson, really. Anderson didn't have to do a thing.
